  • Overview

    Daggerwing Group is seeking a new Financial Analyst for our New York office! 

     

    Working as a member of the Finance Team, the Finance Analyst (FA) is responsible for the overall financial management of our DGNA consulting clients, their commercial agreement, audits and general day-to-day activities. The FA is a pivotal role within the finance function not only because of the critical impact it has on operations but also as a key interface between Client finance and the business at large, involving interaction with colleagues across the business.

     

    The FA will be responsible for minimizing unbilled, unpaid and work in progress (wip) position, as well as adherence to contract terms and conditions. The FA will report directly to the Finance Manager.

    About the Job

    • Being the focal finance support for both Daggerwing Health and Adapt X2 Studios clients and supporting with the following:
      • Revenue recognition
      • Monitoring project spent and provide regular budget updates to teams
      • Budget reconciliations
      • Invoicing clients on a monthly basis or based on a billing schedule
      • Ad hoc analysis needed by client leads.
    • Chairing all internal budget meetings with client leads and forecasting out future projects revenue schedules based on deliverables.
    • Generate professional financial reports for review with clients as directed by account team
    • Manage and maintain working capital metrics and provide regular updates to Finance Director ahead of Omnicom WC calls.
    • Support and liaise with shared service accounting team (AAS) on all vendor payments.
    • Maintaining and updating revenue trackers and generating weekly reports for internal review.
    • Prepare journal entries in relation to month end close
    • Providing support to Finance manager on all month end duties.
    • Assist in all internal and external Audits
    • Provide ad hoc support and analysis where needed within the team.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
    • Must be driven, organized, enjoys a challenge and works well on own initiative
    • A keen eye for detail, rigour and process
    • Superior verbal communication, written communication and interpersonal skills
    • Solutions orientated with natural problem-solving skills
    • Adaptable and flexible to working in a fast-paced environment
    • Works well as an individual as well as working as a team
