Daggerwing Group is looking for a Managing Consultant ready to join a smart, creative. fun and growing team. As a Managing Consultant for Daggerwing Group’s office in Toronto, you will be focused on leading the design, development and execution of strategic change, organizational design, and employee engagement initiatives that impact organizational and functional performance, particularly in the marketing, communications and HR space

As a Managing Consultant, your typical day may range from leading the day-to-day project work for multiple work streams and multiple clients, supporting the employee experience by managing the development of junior staff, supporting consultant training, methodology development and recruitment and playing a key role in supporting business development. As a Management Consultant in the Toronto office, an area of focus will be marketing/customer centricity transformation initiatives.

What Will You be Doing? 

Managing delivery for clients

  • Lead delivery of project work and manage project teams to ensure they are on track deliver project objectives
  • Design/conduct organizational, marketing and or functional assessments, anaylze data, produce and present final reports
  • Develop change strategies and provide implementation recommendations and support
  • Work with current clients to understand their business challenges and provide them with recommendations that address their challenges and opportunities
  • Taking responsibility for the quality and on-time/on-budget delivery to clients
  • Continually look for ways to improve process and capabilities to deliver better work, faster
  • Learn about and stay on top of – Daggerwing Group’s methods of using creativity, innovation and human-centred thinking to create programs that meet client needs

Strengthening the experience for our Employees

  • Provide hands-on coaching so that employees are always learning and growing
  • Support internal team development through ongoing feedback and performance management
  • Serve as a direct manager for more junior team member(s)

Growing the business

  • Support new business development including development and presentation of proposals, project plans, budgets and pitches
  • Contributing to Daggerwing Group’s thought leadership platforms, and contributing ideas on ways to expand our expertise and solutions, stand out as competitors and grow our reputation 


Job Requirements

  • We seek candidates with an advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Industrial/organizational psychology, HR management or comparable experience
  • Individual with approximately 7-10+ years of relevant experience
  • Significant business, practice and people development experience required
  • Significant project management skills for multiple work streams
  • Candidate must have a strong understanding of business fundamentals, corporate strategy and organizational issues
  • Must have excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to identify and implement appropriate interventions
  • Strong communication (including writing, editorial and presentation), personal interaction and persuasion skills required
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills combined with a creative mindset
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to high quality and service excellence
  • Proven experience in being a trusted advisor to a client or leader in your organisation – with examples of where you were able to provide a strong point of view to address challenges
  • Comfortable with traveling internationally and has a valid passport
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) on Mac. We are an Apple-friendly environment
